Why I made this
Hi, I'm Mike. I built Free BP Tracker after running into problems with high blood pressure myself. I wanted a clean, simple way to write down my readings and understand what they meant - without adverts, without being pushed to sign up for things at every turn, and without paying a fortune just to keep an eye on my own health.
I couldn't find one I was happy with, so I made it.
Free, for good
Free BP Tracker is free for everyone and it will stay that way. I believe something like this matters and can genuinely help people, so recording your readings, seeing your trend, the 7-day home check and all the guidance on this site will never sit behind a paywall. There are no adverts, and your data is never sold or shared.
About Plus
Running a website costs money, so there's an optional Plus subscription for £2.99 a month. It adds extras like your full history, monthly reports and PDF reports for your GP, and it helps cover hosting and keeping the site maintained.
If you can support it, thank you - it really does make a difference. If you can't, please don't feel any pressure at all. The free site isn't going anywhere.
Where the information comes from
Every number and piece of advice on this site comes from official UK sources - the NHS, NICE (the body that writes clinical guidelines for England) and GOV.UK. Nothing is made up or taken from American guidelines, which use different numbers. You can check every source yourself on the official links page.
The guidance was last checked against those sources on , and is re-checked regularly. Where official sources disagree, the site uses the more cautious figure and says so.
What this site isn't
Free BP Tracker helps you keep a record and understand official guidance. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it isn't a replacement for your GP, nurse or pharmacist - please talk to them about your blood pressure. Read the medical disclaimer, and if you ever have a very high reading and feel unwell, see when to get help.
